I am coming back to budgies after being given some lovebirds from a friend "you have an empty aviary don't you?" After a few years they are a little messy for me I will stick to my love of budgies! My children and I have just purchased 4 budgies from the local pet shop for the avairy and now the kids have decided that they want one as a pet inside. The last budgie I had "Bobby" was 13 when he died which was an unbelievable innings!! I want the kids to have a boy inside so they can 'try' to teach him to talk etc. Can you please confirm for me that these are both cock birds?
