What Makes The "perfect" Spangle & Opaline

I know no bird is perfect :) and I personally do not show my budgies, But I also know that doesn't mean that some where down the line some one may end up showing them or using them for breeders for Show birds. So I figured Why not make them the best they can be now Even if I myself don't show them.

But I've been wondering what makes the "perfect" spangle - What should the markings look like to be considered a "Top of the line winner"

I've seen many different types of markings not only just in my own flock, but pictures of others as well

I've seen where the outline is very light black so light that its almost grey, or its so light it doesn't look like it has an outline at all. and I've seen the outline very dark and well defined and I've seen a combo of both on one bird. - meaning some markings were very light grey to a very dark coal black

Also on a couple of mine I've noticed a "ink mark" (not sure what to call it) but it's a Black spot on the feather that is supposed to be white, It looks like some one squirted that feather with black ink and it does stand out like a sore thumb since the same area of the other feathers are white like they should be then you got this black ink spot thing

I'm sure in the show that would most likely not be counted as a good thing for a spangle since that part of the feather is technically supposed to be "Clear" (white/yellow)

and then again same basic questions only What Makes the Perfect Opaline? or is there no way to make a "perfect" Opaline since their body colors goes into their wings I would think that one would be a bit harder to determine what is good, better or best from a group.

Any other advice for making The Best Spangles and Opaline's would be appreciated :) Oh and pictures help me understand 100x's better than just reading :)

and for what is worth the Spangles I have Bred so far have only had 1 Parent as the Spangle while the other parent was a Normal - but I remember reading some where that is the best way to get the best looking spangles - not sure how true that was though.

I do have a pair set up now that are both Spangles but that is because I want Double Factor spangles.

and of course to me All mine are perfect and they're all winners ;) but my opinion doesn't mean squat to some one who wants to show them some day lol
