January 11, 201213 yr I believe the Fraser Coast Budgerigar Society is the local Cub up there, don't know much about them other than they don't have a website LOL. An ad online promoting the club says they alternate between meeting in Maryborough and Hervey Bay every month... If the SQBBA website is up to date then Steve Ribchester is the Secretary. Sorry I can't help anymore... On a good note you'll be closer to Daz so great birds won't be hard to come by... AND Nationals are in Sth Queensland next year so there's another positive.
January 12, 201213 yr i was going to say bonus will be birds any variety greens coming out your bum taz lol no paying more freight for good birds
January 12, 201213 yr It is very humid up there but should be fine to breed , hey send Daz a message and ask him . I love Harvey Bay
January 14, 201213 yr I'm near Brisbane, I've just found best to avoid breeding in summer, for obvious reasons. I just check all water multiple times a day and if it is really humid I give them a light shower from a mist bottle. My budgies love it.
