Posted December 30, 201113 yr Hi everyone This is a wonderful forum. I have learnt a lot from some great threads. We have purchased 2 male baby budgies and a cage suitable to house them. We are delighted with are new family members . (they don't have names yet) The first picture shows our cage set up and one of our 2 Dals "Lucky ( pictured )and Domino". Lucky's not to sure by the new additions. But the budgies are fine with him.(the breeder had dogs.) Anyway hi for now I'm not convinced that I have done the photos correctly so please let know if they are not. Ray Edited December 30, 201113 yr by step up

To save your birds dying by hanging please remove and throw away that green fringed rope type toy.............toys like that have been known to hang birds..........I have experienced this myself with my birds before I knew better. Any rope or fringing over 2 inches is a danger to birds. I am sure you can get some name suggestions here. NICE DOG PS photos can be posted here of a size 480 by 640 Cheers Kaz

December 31, 201113 yr Hi Ray, you dog is super and the budgies are gorgeous, like your cage too. About birds hanging themselves, if there is a bit of thread or a bit of wire they will find it and do tremendous damage. When we first did our aviary Greg left some of the wire with the spits sticking up and we came home and found a budgie hanging by her ring ring, she lost her foot in the end. And I had a bird get her ring caught in the breeding cage this year from where I cut the wire to hang the breeding box on her foot swiveled up and died. I actually haven't had one hang it's self but if I gave them the chance I am sure they would. babies are very inquisitive and seem to get in the most trouble.
