Posted November 24, 201113 yr Hey guys, I have been taking ice-skating lessons for almost two years now, and in a week and a bit, I have a christmas concert where I will be doing two group routines I started out in novice one, and progressed through novice two, intermediate one, intermediate two, and am currently in free skate one. I believe that I have only done this through my great friends that I made along the way, Estelle Groenewald and Megan Jackson. They have been with my since day one and I owe all of my skills to them So, to celebrate this, I'm inviting you all to come and watch our christmas concert, which is saturday week from around 9am till 12pm (But you can leave after you've seen me perform my routing ) This is located at the Malaga ice-skating arena (close to bunnings) I hope to see you there

December 3, 201113 yr Author haha thx It was a great day I even got to be santa for the little tiny tots
December 4, 201113 yr Glad you had a great dad Flippy, last time I ice skated was when I was in my late 30's and lasted one second and broke my arm it was black and blue from finger tips to my shoulder. Decided I needed both arms to raise my boys so I gave up my ice skating career, lol much to dangerous for me. oh I bet you enjoyed being Santa what a frill.
December 4, 201113 yr Author Hehe thanks Splatty, and I'm sure you'd love to keep up your ice-skating career, we had a 70 year old female coach, (she only looks 50 though 0.o) and she only recently stopped, because she was doing a waltz jump and fell and broke her tail bone :/ she still comes though, but now she's just an organiser :'(
December 4, 201113 yr Nah Flipper I no longer live near a ice skating rink, I use to live in Bendigo and the ice skating place was just around the corner so my younger son loved going. After I fell and broke my arm and another skater almost chopped my fingers off I decided that was it but it was funny though the people that run the place told me to come back when I recovered and they have a wheel chair type thing that other oldies push around until they get the hang of it. lol. but I decided I needed both arms , all my fingers and legs plus tail bone to raise my boys. lol
