Wild Type

Featured Replies

Im having reasonable success with hatching but it does vary and i do seem to lose the odd pinky with these birds but with some hens they consistently produce 8 young.

id be very keen to swap pure with pure stock with you.

and i agree they are a great bird!

Some nice looking budgies.

Not many eggs hatching, not to sure why . haven't had this much trouble for a while was wondering if it was climatic. Is anyone else having any trouble.

Bugga the wild type Mark, have them Welshman birds produced you anything yet.?

Don't breed them over Christmas too hot and need a break. Will pair up for autumn.

How are your birds going?

Hi, really nice greens. They are greens really great little birds, yet pet shops don't seem to want to buy greens.

They say they are too hard to get rid of, but they are after all the forerunner of all others.

So sad. I actually prefer the greens. I think they have more personality and certainly more sturdy as there is less chance of having complications IMHO d/t not as much breeding mistakes. (I could be wrong.)

Darn! My profile still shows me as a "male".

Am I the only one having just the one smilie show up?

(I'm an older member returning to post. Haven't been here since the upgrade.)
