Posted October 23, 201113 yr Hi everybody I have just joined the Budgeriegar Breeders Club. I have been looking up advertisments for budgies for sale but they have all been sold. I guess I am too late as they are all breeding. Would any-one have young budgies for sale sometime before Xmas. I would like 3 pairs if you can tell their sex otherwise I will have to take pot luck. I would like good quality ones as I believe if you are going to breed it should be the best.. I won't be showing. I live at Orbost in East Gippsland but my daughter lives in East Brighton, Melbourne so she would be able to pick up from any breeders in that area. I used to breed budgies years ago and would like to start again. What is the difference between and English budgie and and an Australian budgie? Regards to all Dixie
October 23, 201113 yr Sorry can't help you with the budgies but the difference between a pet type and a show type is the size and quality, for example take this photo of one of my pet types to one of my show types See the width of the head and how the mask spots are more visible and larger other birds would show this better Hope this helps ~corzstunt And welcome to the forum dixie
October 23, 201113 yr im in gippsland i have a few birds for sale snowbird breed but pet culls not going to get good quality bird from me visually as a pet cull but will breed quality birds if you do it right if your interested pm me i can help you find birds also im happy to do that you wont be paying a arm n leg either i dont have babys but few young birds here i stuck aside for good keeping im sure i can finally let go lol show bird not snow sorry its past my bed time
