September 4, 201113 yr Author We got to see Nubblys auction birds yesterday and Ken ( my husband ) has already chosen a couple he said he will bid for
September 18, 201113 yr Author Some very nice birds went for low prices at todays auction. Some destined for "over east" also. I came home with about 8 birds, two of which my husband chose. I dont think there was a dearer price than around $450........so bargains definitely.
September 18, 201113 yr I came home with about 8 birds, two of which my husband chose. Woo Hoo! Which ones? Photos please
September 19, 201113 yr I purchased 2 birds for myself and 11 for a friend in Melbourne. They werent expensive birds. But as Gary said they were far better value at and average of $200 per bird, we paid, that we would buy over east. Thanks to Gary Armstrong, Jan McMahon and Alan Jaeschke for putting such good birds in the Auction. Enjoyable day and delighted with the purchases
September 19, 201113 yr Yes most of the auction here are quite expensive but the country auctions like Bendigo are good value, you can pick up very decent birds as a fair price. But the same as what your auction was.
