Hello to you all, I have kept and raced pigeons all my life, but have now decided to call it a day, and keep Exhibition Budgerigars. I had budgies back in the early 70's, but decided to dedicate my time to the pigeons. In those days I became friends of Brian and Louise Stevens from Welwyn. and they were a great help and inspiration to me. I have now become very good friends with Mick Browne from Ireland who has rekindled my desire to keep the budgies again. Mick has offered to set me up on the right track and I am very grateful to him.

I look forward to making friends with members on here.

Hi Bob and welcome to the Forum.

Sounds like you no what you are doing and have some good mentors to help.

We have racing pigeons here, Greg races them.

Greg has the pigeons and I have the budgies, lol this is a real bird place here. lol

I really wish the budgies would return home when they decide to have a fly lol.

Wouldn't it be could to watch them fly around the house with all their beautiful colours

and then land on the landing and go back into their aviaries. How wonderful would that be.

BUT no they just keep going, don't even look back. lol

Hi from Tassie and welcome i am also an ex pigeon nut both raced them and showed em .......Now been bitten by the budgie bug .....................even if you dont show them the gentic side is also interesting Cheers TAZ D
