Posted August 16, 201113 yr Just thought that I'd let everyone know about an auction coming up in October. It's on Sunday the 9th of October 2011 It is in Weribee, Victoria and I cannot believe it, but birds from Henry George are going to be there! It should be a great day. There is a long list of breeders attending, Pam caulfield, Henry George and my breeder I got my budgies from, Lloyd Richardson just to name a few... Here is a link http://www.bcv.asn.au/WSAuctFlyerMap11.pdf Hope it works. See ya all there Edited August 16, 201113 yr by Taylor
August 17, 201113 yr I was going to be flying over for that one but plans have since changed you not comming any more kaz thats sad i was looking forward to seeing you for the day im going to go if i can find a lift that is
August 18, 201113 yr Author Im going just to look at all the birds. The breeder I got my budgies from, Lloyd Richardson, will be there, so it chould be good to speak to him. (Even though he lives 2 mins away from me) Should also be goog to compare to mine, even though Henry Georges would be way better. Prices for his would be close to thousands, if not more. It will be a great learning experience for me. For anyone that can make it, Im the tallish red head girl! LOL! See ya there!

If I come and I might I have a Lloyd Richardson cock bird for you if you want it. It is an unsused cobalt young bird that was kindly given to me but I no longer have use for it as all my cages will be filled ( have a look at my thread in the wanted section and you might see why). Let me know if you want it.

October 8, 201113 yr Hi Taz, I used to be a Ford man but I like Lowndes and Whincup so you have to back the Red Lion. Normally, I would work my **** off on Sat and get all my jobs done so I can sit on it all day and watch the race on Sunday - but not this year. The RWC is an added complication. The way Wales played tonite, I am glad we are playing the Boks. Wish Barnes was playing outside centre, but I think we can do it. Bid quick and bid last!!!! Cheers PT

October 9, 201113 yr Can anyone give me any feed back on the henry george birds at the auction today and prices Terry
October 9, 201113 yr Henry George Birds varied at the Auction. A friend of mine picked up a cock bird for $20, i got one for $30, Hens went dearer Prices ranged from $20 to $120 for most birds, then he had 3 birds sell, one for $200 and the other 2 for $500 each. I thought his birds did not stand out, there were much better birds there from other breeders.

Thanks Wayno very much appreciated for the feed back, thought with all the birds he has had in auctions this year the quality might be a bit off but then again for the prices they went for it was certainly a cheap way to get into his lines which i am a big fan of and i have purchased some very nice birds of his this this year from other auctions.
