Posted August 9, 201114 yr Hi, I'm a new member here, though I've been lurking around for a while, and wanted to introduce myself. After months of discussion and research, my son bought two baby rainbow budgies from a breeder 6 and 7 months ago; Tweetie is a yellow female and Frasse is a blue male. (I wonder if that makes me a grandmother.) My son worked really hard hand-training the birds and they responded very well, so we have two of the most affectionate birds I've ever seen. They really are great new family members. I'm looking forward to getting to know other members, learning more about my grandbirds and having a place to discuss and ask questions.
