Is he skyblue-violet or cobalt-violet or just violet?

And is he "oparine spange" or "clearwing spangle"? His spangle marks are very light... not "just spangle!"

And I have a female DF spangle ........

I have 2 birds the exact same as this, but have always just said they were cinnamon spangles.

So I would like to see what people say about it ... then I can slap my forehead

It looks cinnamon to me, what are the parents? It could also be a bad variety marked spangle, I have bred a few of them in the past.

But your bird looks faded in colour so I would say cinnamon spangle

Here is another picture.

He has little bit of violet color on his back, sholder and over the leg

Is he cobalt ?? I thought he is violet

But it;s seems like cobalt, too.....

I'm so confused!

From the pictures I would have to agree with Pride and say cobalt.

They might look a little lavender in colour because of the faded blue.

Yeah i think it may be a dluted spangle that is why it looks lighter

Cinnamon has a brown marks but his marks are body color.

So I thought it is dilute spangle.. but I can't find any dilute spangle picture.

I wanted to see them and compare with mine....:(

Yeah some budgies can be quite confusing.

Try and remember that diluted body colour also is what happens with cinnamon :)
