Posted July 24, 201113 yr Hi my name is Rebecca and I live in QLD with my husband Adrian and 2 kids Zac (5) and Kara (2). We have just brought our very first budgie this morning. Im not sure after reading a few comments on the forum the sex of my budgie but I was told it was a male. He is only 10 weeks old and is a very talkative. July 24, 201113 yr Hi and welcome Your budgie looks real sweet. Closer cere photos ( macro camera setting, no flash, natural light ) will help us sex your budgie for you. Cheers kaz Co Admin

July 28, 201113 yr If you haven't already, check out the Budgies FAQ at the top left. It's really useful to get you on track to ensure a healthy happy budgie. It helped me greatly when I was a newbie.

August 7, 201113 yr The cere looks very pale and light, which would indicate a female. Without closer pictures we can't be 100% certain though.
