Hi, I'm just starting out and just wondering what as the current going rate for good quality show budgies for a beginner, I realize it would differ but just a basic value, also as a beginner I have little knowledge and don't really know what im looking for in a show budgie so if anyone could tell me what I should be looking for to begin that would be great.

Best thing you can do is join a local budgie club, Not on ly will you meet members who will have some good budgies to sell you but yopu will learnt o recognise what to look for when buying them. You can buy starter budgies ( culls ) for $20-$30 upwards to hundreds of dollars.
