Posted July 1, 201114 yr hello every body im new and i was wondering if you would no any cool names for a boy budgie because mum just gave me new baby boy budgie. my mum has birds and she shows them but im not interested but maby when im older because im only 9 years old. mum decided i could join here and i can learn myself as i like to learn things myself with out mum telling me mum is gb she said you better all be nice to me:P or im not aloud any more:( so hello and i will put some pictures of my bird to show you very soon little shadow hello i got the pictures of my baby boy and me hope you like them please id like help naming him mum bad at it very bad lol this is his tree where he is going to sit with me Edited July 1, 201114 yr by **KAZ**

July 1, 201114 yr Welcome aboard, little shadow. I have to agree with Kaz in that Shadow sounds like a great name to me. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos with us, but if you want to look for budgie names.....google it! I think names happen as you get to know the bird. He is a pretty little thing, hope you and he have lots of happy times together.

Welcome to the forum, little shadow. Your are right about the opaline. But I'm not good at telling between sky violet and cobalt. You could be right about that too. (I'm guessing you are trying to figure this out without asking your mum?)
July 2, 201114 yr Author yes i am trying to figure it out with out mums help i named him ********* and chinks for short from the book the wishing chair i love that book i have been reading it chinks is not to happy today he is a bit fluffy mum is going to have a look at him latter but told me to just for now watch him as it could be as he just came inside so if he is looking still bad mum is going to fix him:) mum fixes most of the sick ones but sum times they do die :huh:but i know that if they die then they must of been very sick:( as mum saves lots of animals :)that are sick people bring to be fixed his names ********* the words didnt come out the first time sorry Edited July 2, 201114 yr by little shadow

July 2, 201114 yr hi guys my daughter named her bird C H I N K Y chinks is doing okay tonight however he is not what i would call the best im not sure if its the stress of going from the out side flight inside or if maybe chinks has been a tad under the weather but tonight i fed him with a crop needle as he seems very skinny for his age and considering hes been in flight 3 weeks now he should be flying strongly however hes not but i did bring him in due to i wont be breeding him as hes a sky violet/ino and as i noticed in nest he had weak wings something i dont want to breed into my stud he is however happy and healthy all other ways preening and chatting he can fly just not fast or strongly and rather than fly up wards he tends to flutter down then just before hitting ground continues up wards hes not good landing either but hes very finger friendly and steps up already so im sure will make little shadow a great pal (and me ) but shhhhhhhhhh dont tell her that as im not allowed near him apparently oh unless hes sick or dieing im told
