I am new to this club and joined to find out more about budgies and because I just love them (Budgies), my 10 month old budgie "Tucker" died last week, this was really distressing, I thought he was a healthy young active and very fast in flight little bird, with a cheeky personality and a real apetite lol, hence his name. I decided to join the club to learn about how to care for budgies better and to hopefully meet like minded people who are passionate about their feathery friends.

 

I am on the lookout to buy a new budgie I would probably like a really young baby budgie that has left its mum and is hand reared or one that I can hand rear, and the colour blue and white or maybe a budgie with green/yellow plumage with blue cheeks, I am not fussed on the breed and to be honest dont know alot about the breeds.

 

I live in NEWCASTLE NSW 2300 and would be willing to travel as far as The Hunter Valley or Central Coast in pursuit of finding a new pet friend.

 

If anyone could advise or contact me please, if you breed/sell budgies similar to what I described above, I would really appreciate this.

Being in the U.S., I can be of no help to you finding a budgie, but I wanted to say welcome to the forum!

 

And to encourage you to read around in the different forums, especially the budgie faqs section. This is definitely the right place to learn a lot about our little feathered friends!

 

I'm sure there will be someone around who can help you find a great budgie.

You could always hand rear one yourself! I did that.
