i want to start training little george he is approaching the stage of finger tame and wanted to know what i can use as treats for him

he loves millet and has it in his cage and am wondering whther there is anything else i can try before taking this out to use as treats for when he does something good???

anyone got any ideas

my mum said can they have like raspberrys or fruits of like kind????

I'd take the millet out and use that. They shouldn't really have access to it all the time and if he loves it, it will be an awesome treat for training.

Agree with Maesie. Use the millet as a treat.

Suggest naming is for either sex or you make sure george is a boy or girl first :D

Depends, All budgies like different things

Try and find something that george likes.

Mine likes strawberries (especially the outside with the little seedy bits), millet, and toasted wholegrain bread (especially if I'm eating it). And fresh seeding grass, washed.

What about a favourite toy? My budgie loves anything shiny. Also his favourite squeaky cat toy. He comes running when he sees it.

I found my budgies ......All 40 in different ages go mad for Swiss chard/spinach and beetroot leaves.the odd corn on the cob
