Hi I was wondering what type of budgies I have

 

Here is a pair, Male on the left, Female on the right

 

 

 

This is their baby 'Lil' Ricky'

Here is a photo of Lil Ricky with his cousin Victor

 

 

 

 

I would love to know what type of birds I have and if it is possible to tell the gender of Lil Ricky and Victor from these photos?

I'll take a stab at it...though I'm not good with pieds

 

The first pair are both YF's (Yellow Faces). The female a recessive pied and the male looks to be a combination pied.

 

Lil' Ricky looks like a sky blue combination pied also, and is his dad the same cock as in the first photo?

 

His cousin Victor looks like a YF Sky blue recessive pied.

 

Anyway, those are my observations Feel free to correct me on this guys.

Victor is a female and she's a Yf cobalt blue recessive pied - she looks to dark of blue to be sky blue But it could just be the picture

 

are they standing on a piece of metal in the first couple of pictures??

It's not metal that they are standing on, it's an old curtain rod made of timber that is painted.

Both have the yellow bleeding not their body feathers so they are both type 2, she could be a golden face as her yellow is quite dark.

 

Who are Victor(ia)'s parents? her wings look dutch pied, could we get a shot of her front.

you might want to sand off the paint cos your budgies are eating the paint. Or swap it for a safe gumtree branch.
