April 28, 201114 yr I don't use either of them. I use spot on Ivermectin. You get it from the vets. One drop on the back of the neck... problem solved.

You have treated with SCATT which is ivermectin or should I say Moxidectin and you have treated with mite spray. Avomectin and Moxydectin treatments are similar to Ivermectin Both of which will kill any mites. You might well be confusing normal preening and scratching with presence of mites. Dont get too carried away or you will overdose and poison your birds. SCATT http://www.thebirdcottage.com/s-scatt.asp Edited April 28, 201114 yr by **KAZ**

May 7, 201114 yr Author Today i went to a pet-store that Ive been going to all my life to and i really trust what they tell me, and the owner told me that my budgies might just have dry skin due to the environment and that i could mist em with a spray bottle and also that if i had changed there food that could be another factor to them being itchy
