New Hen

Featured Replies

Here is my new hen :) She was $20, down from $30 because I knew the person selling her. Mates rates :D

She is an opaline spangle grey-green ( I am thinking maybe a violet green?) She is a green ring hen. I am really dying to breed her as she is in perfect condition, but quarintine comes first. I plan to put her to a rather untidy large light green spangle cock I have. Then put her to a normal grey-green neat but still large cock I have. Then breed half brother to half sister.

Here she is, I will hopefully get a few more piccies later on, as Dad has the camera on holidays :) These are from my phone, not the best quality :P

She doesn't look grey green to me, looks too greenish, not greyish enough. Pics can be deceiving though. You are there and so you are the best judge

Hi Dave

yes, She is more grey-green in real life. This is a phone camera though, all the colours are quite saturated/ mis-coloured.

Vent: (I assume she is dark green split blue, I hadn;t looked at her properly in good light, which is why I was possibly mistaken for violet green)
