Thinking Of Pairing These Birds Together

This won't be any time soon as the 3 new ones are in Quarantine and 2 of my males are with other Females but this is my Plan(which may change at any given time LOL)

But here's what I'm thinking for my Breeding Pairs

Set 1: Apollo & Raine

Apollo - Male- Violet Spangle/Greywing (his mom was Grey Spangle Part English, His dad was 100% American Violet Grey Greywing) and he's HUGE! He is actually darker in person my camera washes him out

Raine- Female- Violet Spangle Cinnamon - I just got her and don't know her background

Outcome I'm going for - assuming She's not split to anything

Double Factor Violets

Double Factor Spangles

set 2: Ashes & Calleigh

Ashes - Male- Grey Opaline Spangle (his mom is 100% English she's Albino Opaline (not sure if she's hiding anything else she only gave me 3 babies so far) his Dad is Shadow(part English Grey spangle split Opaline & ino)

He's on the right in the picture on the left is his Half sister- same dad different moms

Calleigh- Grey Cinnamon Opaline ( not sure of her back ground just got her

Outcome I'm shooting for: nothing in particular but With this pairing I won't be able to sex the babies Unless Ashes is split to Ino which he has the chance of being - So this may change I like to be able to sex them before they get their cere color :)

Set 3: Cole & Haley

Cole: - Grey Male - unsure of background

Haley- Normal Sky blue - She's only given me 1 baby so far with a Sky blue male and the baby was blue as well so not sure if she's split for anything (she's on the Swing :D )

No specific out come with them other than to see if either are split for anything

These next couple are already set up Just wanted to share them as well :)

Zeus & Ariel

Zeus - Male - Normal Sky blue Cinnamon

ZeusEnglishskyBlueCinnamon51110-1.jpg

Ariel - Albino Opaline - she's the one who has only had 3 babies so she could be hiding more

outcome I'm shooting for: Keeping one of their male babies because it'll be split to both Cinnamon & Ino to Put with either Angel or a Normal female and attempt to get lacewings

Right now I already have Ashes and Haley set up and she's on 5 eggs Crossing my fingers she didn't jump the gun again and Just go and lay eggs with out giving Ashes a chance to show her what sort of Guy he is

I still need to find a Male for Angel who is the Albino I thought was lacewing because you can see all the brown markings in person just not pics I can not put her with Ashes because that's her brother they came from the same clutch

I may put her with Zeus If his and Ariel's Eggs don't hatch She's had them in there for a while She is my budgie who since the day I got her 3 years ago would rather hang upside down from the cage than interact with the boys So when she had 3 babies with Shadow I was very surprised :D IF it ends up being she only likes Grey Spangle boys - I guess I'll be on the hunt for a new one :D because the only one I have now is her son

I am leaving Jade out of the equation until I figure out why she's not laid any eggs and her cere never changes I've had her 3 years and nothing - she goes through the motions when she has a nest box - sitting, yelling when I check etc. She does NOT bond to boys or girls for that matter - she stays by her self and entertains her self, doesn't preen the other budgies in the cage or allow them to preen her if they get too close Then she'll just move Even if they're just wanting to sit with her or by her.

I don't think I forgot any one

so opinions are welcomed

Would you pair them up differently? or did I do a pretty good job - I didn't even use the Genetic Calculator usually I do to see exactly what I'd get But I've had Plans to Put Raine with Apollo as soon as I saw her in the cage at the bird fair
