Posted March 14, 201114 yr I bought 4 but one girl at the bird fair Wanted the other male and was a big ole drama queen about it and even started crying because I refused to sell her the one she wanted I kept telling her no I need all 4, I breed and I need them - I only have a few English budgies and they're all starting to become related to each other So I needed new birds that weren't related to mine My b/f caved and sold it to her and I'm still mad at him about that he was a Double Factor violet and I wanted him and already had plans for him! before I even got out of the building - But oh well maybe I'll be able to find another one Soon - but I highly doubt it , its very very very rare to have English budgies at our bird fairs. but I came home with 2 girls and a boy, the Male is a Normal grey one Female is Grey Cinnamon Opaline other female is a Violet Spangle Opaline the first two pics are from the way home -they were very content Then a few after I got them in the house and put in Quarantine and fed and watered So now I have a Female Spangle to put with my Grey Opaline Spangle Male and get Double Factor Spangles or at least the chance of getting them
March 14, 201114 yr English are hard to find around me to gotta snatch them when you see them gorgeous birds
March 14, 201114 yr Thanks I've found them online on hoobly But never in my state or even in a state that is driving distance and most only had 1 at the very least I even wanted and I just can't see paying over a hundred dollars to have 1 little bird shipped to me so I wait and wait and wait for them to get some where closer and I got lucky yesterday
March 15, 201114 yr They look to be nice birds, should go well with what you already have. Thank you I thought they looked awesome too now i still need to work on getting more Breeding cages since this fair I was at yesterday didn't have mine hopefully the one next month will
March 16, 201114 yr I like your grey cinnamon opaline hen, she look a good size. Thank you I tried to get them all in at least one picture perching but They just wasn't having none of that LOL but I'm going to try again tomorrow since they've been here a few days now and are used to us coming and going out of the room they're in Maybe they'll hold still a little better now and if i can find a nice used Cage like how I see a lot of people on here using (show cages is what I think they're called) I may snag one up just for pictures - I'm thinking it maybe easier to get good pics in that type of a cage instead of the normal cages
