Posted March 11, 201114 yr I'm not sure if it is or not looks like one to me hard to see the marking but its there it has red eyes to. http://juliafan23.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=119603723 http://juliafan23.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=119603724
March 12, 201114 yr Very likely but could also be a badly marked albino. Baby lacewings can often have VERY faint almost non-existent markings until after their first moult. Best to check the tail and if the 2 mail tail quills are a slightly different colour than the other tail quills (should be faintly cinnamon if it's a LW).
March 13, 201114 yr The first picture looks like it could be a very faintly marked young lacewing but usually a lacewing will have some colour in the cheek patches which I can't see on this bird. The tail is usually the next best place to look if you are doublful Edited March 13, 201114 yr by Neville
