Wanted 3 Female Budgies

Hi everyone

i'm new here and am having trouble finding anyone near Kempsey on the Mid North Coast nsw that has Budgies for sale. I'm after 3 girls, and just wondering if you can have 1 male to 3 girls.

I've set up ther avery with toys and nesting boxes just need some girls to put with my boy.

Thanks guys

You dont put a nesting box in a communal cage unless you want fights, bloodshed, smashed eggs and injured or killed chicks. You dont put a nestingbox in any cage where any of the budgies are under 12 months of age.

Males are not used as a stud service to three females. One only male to one only female as the male is m,eant to care for his female and all the babies all the way through.

You dont breed any new budgie you buy as they need time to settle in and get used to everything...and again I say they must be over 12 mo0nths. If you arent sure of their ages wait long enough till you can be certain they are over 12 months.

Breeding budgies isnt all about a boy and a girl and a nestbox. You need to have them long enough ( once they are over 12 months ) to be sure you have prepared them by putting them on the very best diet in readiness for breeding.

With so many gaps in your knowledge so far, it may pay to be patient, wait, research and ask lots of questions here about anything you arent sure of.

Welcome to our forum. Can we see a photo of the cage and your boy ?
