Hi guys, I need some Ivermectin for my budgies. I know its the cattle pour on type but as I only have 50 birds I find it a huge waste buying a 250ml lot for 70$ or more as it expires before i use a decent amount of it.

 

I've heard that some breeders purchase smaller amounts of Ivermectin from their clubs. My club here doesn't have any of it, as I've checked. Would it be at all possible for someone in a club who does sell small quantities to buy me some and post it up to me? i would of course pay postage costs

Can you get it from your vet? I know I got some from mine some years ago... in a nice little bottle. Good luck on your search!

Hi Lozza , if you give Rob Marshall a call , you will be able to get a product called S76 , which is an Ivermectin base product that is put in the water. He will sent it too you in the mail. Search ( Birdhealth) and his site will come up.

LOL,Yes GB I am a little sweety lol, I told him That Renee and two of our open breeders in my club use his products and that I didn't need his book because I have borrowed them from Heath and Ian, but I would love to purchase the Medicine book but it is out of print.

So you could say that you know me Julie McNamara and that you have borrowed the books off a friend but he might ask for a name. I don't have the books.

But he new the 2 breeders I mentioned so I was in. lol.

I now ring up and order what ever I feel like with out being questioned.

S76 also worms your birds going by the directions in the book. But I still worm them just to make sure.
