okay today i finally got my hands on some SCATT to treat my birds with scaly face, its my first time using it, when i was applying it on one of my show birds i accidentally put one too many drops with dropler by squeezing too hard, i tried whipping some of the excess SCATT off and right now i saw my bird and i can see his skin, will he be okay ?? what can i do im worried

Dont be too worried. There is usually a window allowing for a slight excess. Sometimes I have used up to three drops by accident and the bird is fine. they usually allow for the one drop being for an average 30 gram bird and birds vary in weight.

Generally you will see improvement within two weeks

If you wiped off the excess you probably wiped off some of the feathers too! It will take some weeks for them to regrow. So long as your bird is looking fit and healthy apart from his little bald patch all should be fine!

luckily i didn't wipe any feathers off, i was relieved today when i saw my bird because it was looking way better feather wise
