Just got three new budgies and am trying to figure out their mutations. None of them are related, but I haven't seen any of their parents so I don't know what their colours could have been.

I'd say...A male skyblue Violet YF2 Spangle (Greywing??)

 

Female Violet (possibly Skyblue DF Violet) YF2 Spangle, also possibly Greywing?

 

And an unknown. A female, YF, definitely Cinnamon according to the markings visible on her head. Also some sort of Pied, but not Recessive (as she has iris rings)..

 

Opinions?

the last one is a double factor dom pied violet mauve or mauve id say df golden face under 6 months

 

the first one looks single factor golden face and a violet on my screen possibly Opaline but i cant really tell by those pics

as with the second one looks violet also and again sf gf

they are very pretty birds

keep eye on the first little fella he looks tad fluff and hunched

 

i could be very wrong its been a while ive had pretty birds and im very lacking in my colours in mutation mixes of late

this will help the more i try to get right

so dont take me as correct wait for other opinion in case they correct me as im possibly wrong

as for grey wing >?????? i have no clue

i don't see violet signs for the first two. or any signs of greywings

 

bird 1 - YF spangle (no opaline)

bird 2 - YF spangle

bird 3 - I can see two/three lines above the eye is this the only markings the bird has? DF dom pied would fit.

 

how do you know they are not related? the first two could be brother and sister as they are the same type and look to be about the same age.
