Posted February 10, 201114 yr I'm wondering if there are any tell tale signs that show your bdugie is really happy. I have been reading heaps of stuff on this forum and on the web about having a pet budgie and it is really getting hard to know what is right and what isn't. Mum tells me to trust my instinct and trust in what he is doing. He is really active, he's always trying to escape his cage for free flight around my room, he is eating happily, he is really noisy and chirps a lot (even more when he can hear the other budgies in the flight aviary) He happily plays on his ladder and climbs in between the rungs, but he also rubs his head up and down against the side of the cage and bounces around the floor from one end of the cage to the other. I'm wondering if this shows he is happy or something else. Please help.
