Posted February 6, 201114 yr Hello, My turquoise budgie has recently changed from a nice dark turquoise color to yellow. He is in a cage with his two other budgie friends and has not undergone any stress. What could cause him to completely change colors from head to tail?
February 6, 201114 yr Do you have any photos you can share, perhaps a before and after shot? I know of blue budgies goign aqua/green, but I am yet to hear of a turquoise going yellow. Any pics would help us solve the riddle.

February 7, 201114 yr Sounds like you have a yellowface blue budgie. The only way it will " turn yellow" is if you are seeing down feathers only and not full body feathers. Has there been significant feather loss lately ? PHOTOS needed........before and after.
