Posted January 29, 201114 yr Hi, I have posted a similar question, only this pair this my only one BABY for the season. The mother is mating again and I can her her attacking the baby its moving about and screaming....... I am going to take her out and seperate her asap..... got advised to put baby on the floor in a container and dad will look after it.... Could I leave it the nest at all??? or may the father not go in there??? as Its still very young. ANd do I need to move the mother far away????
January 29, 201114 yr Author OR COULD I LEAVE THE BABY IN THE CAGE ON THE FLOOR IN A CONTANIER AND DAD WILL STILL FEED IT OR NOT???? AND LEAVE MUM LAY IN THE NEST??? I REALLY WANT MORE YOUNG FROM THIS PAIR THOUGH ???? CHEERS

CHEERS if i was you id take mum out let dad feed then when chick is eatting put mum back wont be long before you get more eggs and chick will be safe and mum rested a bit may be few weeks before she relays but thats what i would do
