Posted January 20, 201114 yr I was reading the latest Brasea Bulletin and there is an article on the development of a national tender sale site. Breeders can put their birds on the site to sell , you can reserve a price , Prices from $400 , Obviously they want top quality birds and the Brasea gets 15% commission, so they want high prices to make it worth their while. Will be interested to see if it takes off , I think its been tried before with no success.
January 20, 201114 yr Interesting. A lot of breeders like to see a bird in the cage in front of their eyes though. Many photos can be taken to make a bird look better than it is ( or not )
January 20, 201114 yr I like to buy from I can personally see or a trusted representative. Buying from photos, well one can enhance anything in a photo. As for BRASEA setting up a site for this. Sorry but I don't even like there current website. It is so 'dated' and amatuerish in its look and content that it just does not give an air of professionalism for my tastes.
