Hi everyone,

 

My budgie and I have just moved into a new house, where we discovered some termite damage. After notifying the owners, we've found out the house has already been fumigated. Nice of them to let us know, hey?

 

What kinds of things do I need to be worried about? Budgie is already home and has been for 24 hours, he is currently in the laundry until the house loses its "new paint smell." I assume that because they have allowed us to move in and know I have a bird then it is safe, but just thought I'd ask the members for their experience.

 

I'll find out whether the house was tented or not too, because I've heard that termites can be killed by "baiting" and other ways that don't involve fumes I think.
