How Much To Expect

hi, i was just wondering how much money should be spent on a breeding cage. I live on the central coast and could only find a triple breeding cage for $170. Is this too much or a good price? and does anyone know where to buy breeding cages near me.

Buy what is called a flight cage. 60cms by 40cms by 40cms. These are regularly available anywhere between $30 and $50

Hello,if you can be patient and hold off buying breeding cabinets for aprox 4 weeks you can have the ones i used this year. They are made of melamine eight in all ,i have one pair still breeding ,after they have finished i will give them a scrub and let you know,we live aprox 2 and half hours apart you will have to organize someone to collect them though.I have about 4 new wire cage fronts you can have as spares also "all free no charge" cheers Phill

Hi Phil. I see Georgie is looking for breeding cages. You say you are 2 and a half hours but in what direction.

I live on the Central coast too. But travel around a bit. Maybe we can organise to pick them up.

Hi Phil, I have only seen one Post from you on that site and I believe that Mark replied to your Question. " The Meetings are on every second Tuesday of the month", Which is next Tuesday.

I use cages similar to this I don't see a size in the description unless I missed it but mine are 30" long 18 Wide and 18 Deep I get them at bird fairs for about $20.00 Each I have many of them I use them for Lovebirds, Budgies, My son is using 2 of mine for his ringneck doves, I've used them as temp cages for cockatiels as well. Also I don't colony breed so its only for the 1 pair of birds per Each cage I own ;)
