Posted January 14, 201114 yr I have a budgie who is about four and a half months old named Niles. I got him when he was about a month and a half old and I first met him when he was two weeks old. I have several tables in my living room made with a shiny, brass frame and a glass surface. The legs are connected by bars about the same diameter of Niles's perches. They legs and bars are very shiny, allowing him to see a distorted reflection of himself. He spends lots of time on these, often running there when I give let him jump down. I'm worried that he may be too enthralled by these tables because he usually heads there as soon as he can. He often rubs his beak on the legs while perching on the bars that connect the legs. Should I prevent him from playing on these tables? Or will these bars have no ill effects on him?
