January 6, 201114 yr A budgie... But I figured you already knew that... Not having shown birds I wouldn't know entirely but from what I've read, they look for Depth of Mask, Length of the Bird, check to make sure its been put into the right class. They look at the feather of the bird, make sure that it will 'show' (stand on the perch) from memory they look at the toes (someone got disqualified from Nats last year because of to many toes facing forward, or was it back... I dunno) I'm sure others who are more experienced will be along shortly to point out more stuff... And correct my errors..
