hi i was wondering if it is possible to have a girl budgie with a blue cere

I have a green budgie who has only ever been seen feeding and kissing other male budgies

Its common for males to pair up in an aviary setting. Doesn't mean anything.

Girl budgies done have blue cere's... BUT it's completly normal for male budgies to feed and kiss male budgies, and the same goes for female-female. Nothing to worry about I'd say.

Part of socialisation in an aviary is budgie kissing, feeding and preening each other. this is not gender specific. Males to males, females to females and female to males and male to female. Just part of what they do.

Re Blue ceres,,,,females not in breeding condition have a white blue cere.
