I didn't know whether to start a new thread or jump on someone else's thread. New thread won

 

i have been looking for some cages for our new member of the household. I found these two on ebay and am wondering if they are any good

I had to message this seller and ask about the bar distance. He/she ammended the listing

It looks like the same bar spacing

 

so would either of these be okay? and which one would be better?

Either of those cages will be fine for 1-3 budgies in the smaller one and 1-4 in the larger one

sorry for the delay in reply. Thankyou for your help. I ended up getting the larger one and it is huge!! Twonky seems to be happy in it. The only problem now is where to put it. We have a pretty small house.

 

when she was in the laundry basket, we used to move her into the spare room when we were at work to keep her away from the dogs. this won't be an option with this cage. So i have been looking at hanging stands to get her up high away from the dogs.

do you guys recommend this or is it not a good idea?

Melave that looks like a great cage....I am going to put that large one on the list of possibles for my son as we are in the process of cage shopping at the moment. He will love that he could potentially have 4 budgies in there..although I think I would only let him have 2 to start with anyhow. I love that it comes with the seed catcher as well.

 

Does anyone know if that would suit cockatiels (in the future) and if so how many? I know son would really love a cockatiel one day so I am aiming to buy a cage that would suits budgies for now, and eventually in years to come a cockatiel or two.
