I am wondering if only male budgies have blue legs?

Are you asking about leg ring colours or the colour of the legs themselves? Colour of budgie legs are more to do with the variety of the bird rather than the sex. And as Shannon says leg ring colours are dependant on year (unless they are non ANBC rings of course, then they could mean anything).

There was a topic done on this last year... maybe early this year. As Nubbly said, its more about mutation of the birds rather then gender.

Thanks I'll look it up but yes I meant the colour of their legs not their legbands. Sorry I was not very clear in my first post.

Nah you were clear, sometimes we just assume what you meant rather than read what people wrote

colour of the legs are due to the mutation of the bird. Ino's, Recessive pied and others types that remove pigment from the bird have pink legs, other 'normal' types have the blue tone. I'm sure i'm missing heaps of other types but they were the ones that came first to mind

I've noticed all mine that are cinnamon as well as my pieds
