I'm not the brightest bulb on the xmas tree when it comes to genetics etc...will get there one day....

Just wanted to know if I will get any TCB babies with this pairing....... COCK = grey TCB + HEN = Opaline cin pied green/yellow split blue (my best hen)

if so what colour or other possible's...I know cant be 100% but a rough guess

Cheers!!!!!

TCB cock: All hens TCB and all cocks will be split for TCB, but then if he is split ino you will get ino hens too and split ino cocks, all on average over a period of breeding.

With my TCB I got 1 TCB hen, 1 Lutino hen and all split cocks.

Of coarse some will be pied or masking pied because of the hen.

Depends if your TCB is split for blue to if you get any blue, you know you hen is.

Some chicks will be cinn and opaline too because of mum and your cock could opaline or split for both.

Gee I think I am making a mess of this.

i understood it Splat

Some chicks will be cinn and opaline too because of mum and your cock could opaline or split for both.

Only the males will be split cinn and Opaline unless the cock surprises you and is split for the genes.

As Splat said you will only get blues if the cock is split.

All hens will be TCB or Ino depending on the genes that make up your TCB cock.

Depends on the type of pied your hen is.

Dominant pied - %50 chance.

Recessive pied - All chicks will be split.

Thanks Nerwen lol. It does sound better when you explained.

Yes you will either or both inos or TCB hens and all split cocks for ino and TCB.
