Im really not certain. Bobby is about 2 months old i think in this picture. His? blue patch is now white with tiny specks of blue, and his face is yellow

Bobbie is a female :D

A reason you may have thought Bobby to be a boy is..........too many people assume any blue on a cere is male. BUT any blue on a cere with white is a female who is young or not in breeding condition. This confuses a lot of people and petshop staff and some novice breeders get this wrong all the time.

A very experienced show breeder once gave me a young budgies he said was male. I said NO, its a hen. He said we will see and was convinced it was a male. 6 months later he asked me how the young cock was going. I said she is doing fine and sent him photos to show her with her now brown cere :D

The presence of blue on a cere confuses so many.

Thanks for the replies. Since my post I have been reading alot around here and had a pretty good idea it was female. She is bonding slowly with me and is happy and playful. She is a gorgeous little bird and I wouldnt change a thing. I have learnt alot about budgies in just a few weeks and they are fascinating birds for sure.
