My best breeding pair has given me another colour. Can you please advise. ALso am I right in saying it is a male.

Looks like a mauve or violet spangle to me. But the throat spots don't look dark enough. From my computer doesn't look cinnamon but the body colour is light.

I think some one else can have a guess.

Cobalt spangle

Violet Spangle?

Probably cobalt, but isn't dad cobalt and I thought you said a new colour.

I think the onfusion comes in the fact that it is the same colour as Dad, but since this little one still has not had its first moult, the colours are not as vibrant as its Dad.

 

I think cobalt spangle, as has been stated. I think this little guy will look like Dad.

 

You now also know that he is split opaline and that Mum is split blue.
