November 29, 201014 yr Author Sorry I am only new at this.  They are together in a cage outside under shelter - 3 females, 2 males Clean paper is always on the bottom of the cage, thats how i noticed it There are no breeding boxes and no eggs laid Their diet consists of nutrient enriched seed, veges, grass, fruit, cuttle bone, occasional sunflower seeds   Â
November 29, 201014 yr and she is still in with the others ???? Â Why ? Â Any bird with issues, not well etc needs to be removed to a seperate cage for observation, maybe warmth from a lamp, and or treatment. Â Have you felt gently around the vent area to see if there is an egg ? Â Is the blood bright red or brownish ? Â How is she now ?? Â Â Any coloured seeds or items in this so called nutrient enriched seed blend ? Edited November 29, 201014 yr by **KAZ**
November 29, 201014 yr Author I will seperate her now and have a better look at her Blood is bright red No coloured seeds in the food..........its golden cob budgie mix, as for items no idea what u mean by that.......of course if there was any foreign matter Id remove it before feeding She is fine today, nothing unusual

November 29, 201014 yr Author Her poop/wee had no blood in it the last time....about 5 mins ago Cannot feel any eggs or swelling Edited November 29, 201014 yr by luckaholic
November 29, 201014 yr are you sure it was from her vent was mabe a small cut on toe shes rubbed it onto vent or did yu see it drip ???
November 29, 201014 yr Author Hi, I saw it drip out when she landed on the bottom of the cage, and also it is clearly only in the drops of poop/wee on the paper. There were about 4 bloody drops since yesterday but appear to be less than when I first noticed the problem Saturday afternoon. Good news though there has been no more blood today. She is seperated and Ive bought her inside. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
