Hi forum,

 

I have had two wonderful budgies for many years now. Recently while cage cleaning I gave my female budgie a fright and she flew into a wall and died instantly.

 

This has been devastating for me as she has been with me for many years now.

 

I am in Perth, Western Australia, by the way!

 

Now left is a male budgie (her loving partner) and I am very concerned to leave him on his own in a cage. I do not want him lonely or distressed.

 

I have tried to give him to breeders but they could not guarantee they would not sell him in the paper or to pet shops.

 

Is there anyone out there that would take him, love him, put him with other budgies and guarantee he will not be sold and caged with a family that does not know how to treat budgies or make them happy?

 

He is absolutely stunning and I can email you pictures.

There are a few breeders on here that might take him. A few are show breeders, though. If you wanted him to go to a good home, you can actually freight him if you know of a good home. Good luck.

I am in Perth. I am a show breeder. But I also know many people who keep pet type budgies for their own enjoyment. I am sure I would know a few people who would be interested in taking your boy budgie. PM me with your locality and I will advise.
