I Am In Need Of Desperate Help...

Hi all,

I wanted to confess that the main reason I joined up with the Budgie Breeders Club, is because I am worried sick about my little baby budgie, Tweet.

Tweet is under a year old, and has a massive lump on her chest, underneath her feathers. She eats all the time and goes to sleep inside the nesting box that her and her partner, Toot, share. She is fairly docile, and doesn't chirp no where near as much as she used to. She closes her eyes a lot, and is often puffed up.

I do not think her diet is a problem, however, as she has high quality pellets every day. It makes me so sad to look at her.

Please, please, PLEASE help me! I am getting desperate! Sadly, the vet is not an option.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem? :)

:D:P

hi luna dragon first things first she could be possibly be over wait with her lump on her chest and you were saying she was puffed up, well in that case wat colour are her droppings?

Photo please to show us the location of the lump. Some birds can get a fatty cyst type thing and some birds can have a ruptured air sac. It could just be her crop.

Why do you have a nesting box ? Are you trying to breed them ? If not they dont need to sleep in a nesting box at all and it shouldnt be there. No nesting boxes anywhere near a bird that is under 12 months of age ...ever.
