hey well i was looking for a ring code and yes i know i could call ring register but i dont like to bother people over something so little

so i though if we could all put our ring numbers down here it would be cool stop a lot of wondering whos rings you've got may help also as can talk and or descuss birdswith the breeder if their on the forum if they state their willing to help with history of birds and if their not willing to give history write ring code and no history's available

 

 

so my ring code is

last year i had.............BCV 1151 TO 1200

and....BCV 3651 TO 3750

AND 10 RINGS FROM 1230 TO 1240

this year ...................my rings are coded

GB8 001 TO 100

 

Im willing to give information on any of my birds history but of my coded birds only not my bcv codes

My ring code is JM4.

But I have used BCV rings every year when I run out of coded and 2009 rings were all BCV 3100-3400 I think. Sorry with out checking I can't remember all my BCV ring numbers.

We show and Jeff Lloyd & sons following a period when my sons showed as Juniors. Whilst we now show as a Partnership we each have our own rings mine being JL for the last few years after being 1L for a long time. My sons are JPL and CRL.

 

However, our birds are one stud with my oldest son having the Greywings and Yellowfaces and my youngest Violets and Lutes. Exch of them have contributed to our National Reps with Chris gaining seconds with a Grey and a Greywing. Julian had a cracking Violet for Busselton but it dropped a tail beforehand.

 

We try and avoid uncoded rings. But it does get confusing for record purposes when we have 3 x number 1 rings etc. In Auctiions we dont include the ring codes as all the birds are related.

hi my rings are purple 2010 rings and they are

Mine this year are BCV 351-450 because I was too slack to order them in time, here in Vic we have to have our orders in by March I think because of the change over date issue, anyway I left it to late late and had to settle for the BCV rings. It doesn't worry me at all but next year i will get my act together and get coded. I am thinking of changing my code to JG or JH or MH because I am thinking of changing my membership to Greg and I.
