Did you use a flash to take the photos? A flash makes the cere colour paler than it really is and the males look like females

No flash, natural light. It was overcast though.

I've been going back and forth between this thread, and the one where you're selling them, Mirren, and I keep thinking their ceres are so purple around the edges, that they seem to me to be males who have flash washing out the fronts of their ceres.

A few times at home I have noticed that when I grab up a budgie, their cere turns pale, almost as though the blood is draining away from it due to stress. I'm wondering if that's what's happening in these photos, since you said there was no flash.

Since you are the only one who can see them in person, you will have to judge: Is the overall cere color a pinkish purple, or is the overall color white? (Disregard the area around the nostrils, because that can be pale, even on a male budgie.)

Or, you can try for photos at a different angle or different lighting, and we can try again on here. :)

In person, they all look the same to me- pinky purple. So eother all males or I really stink at this!
