Hi all, just checked my babies from me clearbody cock who is whith a normal hen, They had 5 fertile eggs but only 3 hatched, I rung 2 today and one has red eyes, so I am guessing my clearbody is clearbody/ino.

This is my first time breeding clearbodies and I doubt that a clearbody chick would have red eyes.

Anyone here who has breed clearbodies and have got ino from their pairings.

But actually this is good to have the chance of getting 3 varieties in one nest :laughter: . normal/clearbody, clearbody, ino.

Does that mean I can get ino splits too. I need to do some research.

Ino is commonly used in texas clearbody breeding. Pretty normal for you to have got an ino chick.

Yes the likes of Henery George & co,use the Ino's in the breeding of the Texas Clearbodys :laughter:

Yep Kaz is correct. My very first lacewing hens came from a clearbody that SOMEONE had used lacewings to improve. I had no idea what these ino's with cinnamon marking were to start with......... :laughter: Ino is commonly used!

Thanks Kaz, Nubbly and Macka, I actually new that and forgot, when I bought this clearbody cock I as trying to get a albino hen to go with him but she went for to much so silly me settled for a lutino cock. :laughter: 2 cocks don't really work hey :D Anyway I bought an albino hen since then but at the time she looked pretty crappy anyway i loaned her to Clearwing, but I might see if I can get her back for a round.

I am getting excited about these clearbodies now :D

In the nest there are only 3 because 2 eggs didn't hatch, but one has red eyes and the other 2 are normals which could be clearbody or clearbody/split.

I really like the blue series more than the green series.

Yeo make that 4 chicks from the clearbody nest, one just hatched a few minutes ago, no red eyes though, one more to hatch.
