November 27, 201014 yr Remember my chick Dave, I got a greywing from a lutino cock and a dark green hen. 2nd round I got another one again but he died at 3 1/2 weeks. BUT that means my lutino is split grey wing and I am not really happy with that. BUT he is a nice lutino so I am keeping him.
November 28, 201014 yr Author I looked again this morning and I am not sure she is a greywing. I still think a diluted cinnamon. The markings on the head appear more cinnamon than grey. Mor epics later to attempt to clear this up.
December 5, 201014 yr Author My first really disastrous breeding season is almost at an end. I lost one bird today and euthanised another. Both birds had french moult and they had scabs under their arms and their feathers were not developing properly. The little cinnamon spangle passed away and I euthanised curios George. It was for the best, sometimes you have to make the hard decisions. Farewell little ones The little blue Dommie Pied Spangle Hen is definitely a Cinnamon Wing. Here is the little Light Green Spangle that fledged is here. Here is his little brother still feathering up.
