Posted August 17, 201014 yr Is it okay to place a swag of millet in the box for the hen? He feeds her, but I figure the millet will help her as well. We have veggies, egg and biscuit and seed in the cage, from what he eats. Just curious about the millet, I know someone said about for the chicks when they are older. I figure she would just throw it out if she didn't want it,lol. She is a sure bet for cleaning house, lol esp right before she started to lay. The oldest chick is four days old.
