Posted August 16, 201014 yr As I am quite new to the aspect of keeping budgies, and in particular breeding them, I am just wondering what soft foods you use and how often you give it to them. At current I am giving them a piece of Bok Choy every three days, but they don't eat it. I also plan to grow mung beans soon, any one know if they are safe? Any advice will be helpful Cheers Harry Edited August 16, 201014 yr by Harry
August 16, 201014 yr I give my birds mung bean sprout. Here is an easy soft food recipe Daz gave me 2 tablespoons of Budgie starter or 2 parts 1 tablespoon of Budgie Crumble or 1 part To 1/2cup of soaked hulled oats and 1/4 cup of soaked wheat. 1/2 a grated carrot. This will feed 14 cages.
